[Eng] What is Miesoa?

Maybe for some of you haven't heard about Miesoa before. Some people are more familiar with many instant noodles as seen on TV ads. Here we will discuss generally about miesoa.

-    Miesoa or usually also known as Misua, is a kind of noodle with a smooth texture, thin, and soft. The noodles which are made from wheat flour, is suitable for all ages, toddlers, children to the elderly, because its soft texture making it easier to digest the noodles well.

-    Unlike other noodles such as vermicelli noodles, miesoa has a strong cultural value, especially in Chinese culture, miesoa symbolizes a long life, and often becomes a main dish for birthdays and other celebrations.

-    With its own characteristics, miesoa can be served in a variety of cuisines, such as fried miesoa / gravy, fried cakes, cakes, or to be an essential ingredient of the soup mixture. These advantages make miesoa known and used in various countries such as, China, Malaysia, Taiwan, the Philippines and of course, Indonesia.

[new recipe] Bakwan Goreng Misoa

Jika biasanya misoa instan dimakan dengan campuran sayur dan berkuah, tidak untuk kali ini. Misoa yang mirip dengan bihun tetapi memiliki tekstur yang lebih lembut ini bisa juga dibuat bakwan goreng.



Bahan-bahan/bumbu-bumbu:
2 bks misoa instan rasa apa saja, diseduh, dipotong-potong
100 gram tepung terigu 
30 gram tepung beras 
2 sendok makan tepung sagu 
50 gram buncis, diiris halus
1 batang daun bawang, diiris tipis
1 butir telur, dikocok lepas
100 ml air 
minyak untuk menggoreng 

Bumbu Halus:
3 siung bawang putih 
2 butir bawang merah 
1/2 sendok makan garam 
1/4 sendok teh merica 
1/2 sendok teh ketumbar bubuk 
1/4 sendok teh kaldu ayam bubuk 


                                                          Cara membuat :
  1. Campur tepung terigu, tepung beras, dan sagu. Aduk rata.
  2. Masukkan bumbu halus, buncis, daun bawang, telur, dan air. Aduk rata. Tambahkan misoa. Aduk rata.
  3. Sendokkan adonan ke dalam minyak yang sudah dipanaskan di atas api sedang.
  4. Goreng di atas api sedang sampai matang.
